F-35 Landing WAV (1.9 MiB, 2,269 hits, What you will hear on the audio clip is 6 separate aircraft landing on Eglin Runway 12, April 22, 2009 when the F-35 visited Eglin. Each aircraft landing sound is separated by approximately 3 seconds of silence. The first three sounds are 33rd TWF F-15 aircraft landing. The next sounds are of the F-35, first doing a Gear-Up Touch and Go type pass on the runway and then landing. The last sound is the F-16 chase aircraft landing. The audio clip you will hear is a continuous digital recording with absolutely NO EDITING except for cutting out the "dead air" time between landings. This was done because the original real time recording was approximately 20 minutes long. Because these aircraft were recorded (with professional equipment by an audio professional) within a 20 minute span of time and in one continuous file, the relative noise level data is irrefutable.)
