Pollution, both air and water
Projects to protect land, beach and shore areas against corrosion, also projects for rehabilitation and use (except streets and roads)
Cemetery matters
Public health
Sanitation measures
Annual budget figures for health and sanitation and cemetery, (primarily capital improvements)
City Representative in Chamber of Commerce matters
City Recycling Program
Other assignments, as necessary

Duties:

Parks, playgrounds, beaches and recreational areas such as Little League, tennis courts, etc.
Piers, docks, boathouses, rafts, floats. etc.
City representative regarding harbor facilities and matters under jurisdiction of Coast Guard or U. S. Corps of Engineers
Public Library matters
Educational and school matters, as applicable
Federal and State assistance, revenue sharing programs applicable to developments with the City
City web site development and maintenance as required
Cooperative planning efforts in coordination with other governmental bodies
Annual budget figures for public institutions and public library
Other assignments, as necessary

Duties:

Streets
Layout of streets and developments, street naming, house numbering, mail delivery, etc.
City representation when dealing with County and State Highway Officials
Highway and city traffic matters, such as parking, loads of vehicles, types of vehicles, house trailers, buses, boats, etc.
Municipal construction and storage facilities for tools, equipment and vehicles (city yard)
City representative on TPO
Storm water drainage systems or plants
Fire Department matters
Annual budget figures for Fire Department, storm water and streets (primarily capital improvements)
Other assignments, as necessary

Duties:

Water works, water supply, testing, etc.
Sewer collection system and pump stations
City representative with other governmental bodies in water and sewer matters
City representative in Economic Development Council matters
Insurance matters
TV cable and Alarm System
City representative with utility companies, re their installations, etc. (Okaloosa Gas Board not included)
City buildings (except at the City Yard), maintenance, new construction, utilization, etc.
Prepare annual budget figures for TV Cable/Alarm System and Utilities (water/sewer)
Focal Point for all League of Cities and lobbying activities
Mayor Pro Tem
Other assignments, as necessary
